International Showbus 2001 @Duxford

This Leyland Titan was new to London Transport in September 1982 as T614 [NUW 614Y]. It spent its London life based at garages in East London its last allocation being Catford garage where it was withdrawn in February 2001. It was loaned to DTS for route 185 during January 2001.

It passed to West Kent Coach Sales in March 2001, after a period on loan to Confidence of Leicester it was sold it to Nu-Venture Coaches. It was converted from dual to single door and upseated to 76. It received Nu-Venture blue and white livery before entering service at the Aylesford depot in May 2001 where it was initially used on school contracts. Then occasionally on Service 82. It put in an appearance on the Dickens Festival Park & Ride Service in June. During May 2001 along with the rest of the Titan fleet this bus had CCTV cameras fitted inside and reversing camera on the back.

T614 is the latest Titan to enter the Nu-Venture fleet. The Titan fleet now totals eight.
