Nu-Venture's first foray into double deck operations was in 1981 when the first double decker (RCH 526F) joined the fleet. As Nu-Venture had no bus routes in the early 80's its used was mainly confined to school contracts.

It is pictured here a few months before withdrawal in March 1985.

Seen well into retirement parked at Nu-Venture's Hoo depot on 12 May 1998

Having previously been operated by Nottingham City Transport and then Darlington Transport, Nu-Venture acquired the bus in February 1995.

During its stay with Nu-Venture it was used almost exclusively on the Vinters to Walderslade school contract. It appeared on Tesco's on at least 4th October 1996. Its use restricted by the lack of Ticket and suitable destination equipment.
It was put into store from November 1997 and withdrawn in March 1998. It was parked at Hoo until its sale to a gliding club in Buckminster near its home town of Nottingham. It was taken their under its own steam on 27th June 1999, where it remains today as a launchpoint bus on the runway.

Whilst the four Leyland Titans acquired during January 1997 were being prepared for service a Leyland Fleetline was hired from Wealden PSV until they were delivered.

The last Fleetline to be acquired by Nu-Venture arrived in April 2002 reintroducing the type into the fleet after a break from Fleetline operation.

After a period in store It entered service in September 2002 in Green, before being prepared for repaint at Aylesford on the following day. It was completed in Nu-Venture livery with a red stripe on each side.

It didn't stay long before being sold to Farleigh Coaches of Wouldham.
