The
first Scania/Van Hool combination to join the Nu-Venture fleet was (E666 YDT).
It was also the first vehicle to wear the new style company fleetname which unlike
later applications to other vehicles was painted on by hand. | ![]() |
| In June 1996 a further two Scania/Van Hool's joined the fleet. One was this one with Alizee DH bodywork pictured on the left and the other pictured below had the newer style Alizee HE bodywork. |
Two years later in 1998 a further Vanhool bodied Scania entered the fleet, but unlike all the others was a standard 53 seater not to executive specification. |

Breaking
from the tradition of Van Hool bodywork in November 1998 an Irizar bodied example
joined the fleet. It is pictured here on a private hire in Belgium. |
All the Scania coaches in the fleet are used on
private hire work across the UK and Europe. They are used on school contract work
as well as on the companies past and present daybreak programme. Each Scania coach
has carried its own variation of the Nu-Venture livery. Vanhool (8447 RU) left the fleet during March 2006, to join the fleet of Bennetts in Devon. Scania/irizar (SIL 2890) joined the fleet of Eckford Travel during 2007.
